Design & Develop New LED Lighting Ecommerce Website
With our years of experience, SiteCenter were sub-contracted to design and develop a new ecommerce website for UTV Products. This store had some unusual requirements, including the compulsory matching of free connectors with applicable lights; product bundles that consist of individually available products; the ability of the website administrators to add phoned-in orders; and ad-hoc percentage and cash value discounts. The website also had to be fast loading to cater to many rural customers.
Create Custom Gift Certificate Plugin for Wordpress
We were sub-contracted to further enhance the UTV Products website by developing a custom Wordpress plugin to allow customers to create gift certificates of a value of their choice. These are not subject to VAT or shipping costs during checkout and can be redeemed during checkout in lieu of payment.
Integrate KC Smartlink with WooCommerce Store
With our years of experience, SiteCenter were sub-contracted to integrate the UTV Products WooCommerce store with their back office and point of sale systems via the "KC Smartlink" from Kamarin Computers. This involved meeting with the customer to understand their specific requirements before setting up and customising code. The result was the seamless transfer of orders from their ecommerce store into their back office systems and the automatic updating of ecommerce store inventory, order statuses and product data when offline data is updated. Since this store offers trade accounts, the project also involved the setup and data transfer of customer-specific prices.
