SiteCenter were delighted to be selected as the winning bidder from over 20 other companies to develop a new photo sharing website. Snap-O-Matic required a solution that allowed their customers to access a secure website via a QR code on the back of their photobooth purchases with the option of sharing their images via Whatsapp, Email, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. The new website also includes a co-branded login area for companies that host the photobooths to access usage statistics. The project also involved the automated manipulation and formatting of image and video files.

As part of our work for Snap-O-Matic, we worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in various ways. The database for their new website uses Amazon DynamoDB and image/video assets are stored securely in Amazon S3 buckets. In addition, we set up AWS Lambda functions to trigger scheduled routine tasks.
Snap-O-Matic approached us to further enhance their photo sharing website with the integration of several third-party APIs. The Dropbox API was employed to automatically backup-up files from an Amazon S3 bucket, while integration of the Wassenger API allowed for improved sharing of images via Whatsapp. We also integrated both the Stripe and Stannp APIs to enable customers to order additional prints of their photobooth purchases.
