There has been much publicity this week regarding a flaw in a software component known as Bash, which is a part of many Linux systems. Dubbed "Shellshock", this bug can be used to remotely take control of almost any system using Bash.

Our server uses the Apache operating system, which includes the vulnerable Bash component. However, our server is not vulnerable to "Shellshock" attacks from external sources due to our pre-existing security measures. In addition, we have already applied software patches that remove this vulnerability.
