Our server is due to be physically moved to a new high-performance energy-efficient data center at 23:00 (GMT) on 10th September 2013. This will result in our server (and all websites we host on our server) being unavailable for between 1 and 4 hours.
Please let us assure you that we share your disatisfaction at the prospect of any website downtime, but unfortunately the data center we currently use is due to be decommissioned. However, in July 2013 our server did not record even 1 millisecond of downtime and we are confident that this move will result in an even more reliable hosting service.
All files and data will be fully backed-up before the move so that there will be no possibility of loss of data, and the server move will be carried out by a team of professional server administrators. Once tested and re-installed in the new data center, our server will be checked again, booted and then re-connected to the internet.
